Who? Chris Cirillo, Sports Editor

Year: Junior

Major: Communication (Concentration: Journalism)

Minor: Business

Q: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island (& why)?

A: Definitely someone who could get me off that island.

Q: Who is your favorite author/what is your favorite book?

A: I can’t say I have a favorite author, but my favorite book is “Never Let Me Go,” by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Q: What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?

A: It’s embarrassing to say this, but I’m worried for the day I’m on my own and I have to pay taxes. There should be a class called “Living 101,” and schools should make it a requirement. One chapter could be taxes, then mortgages, then credit. Everyone needs to learn that.

Q: What is the #1 most played song or artist on your iPod?

A: The most played artists are Big Sean, Kanye West and Jay Z. There’s a 90 percent chance that if I’m listening to something, it has one of them on it.

Q: What is your goal for the Quad/your section this semester/year?

A: More hard news is the goal. Feature stories are great, but more insight on injuries, recruiting, and changes on all the teams is the real aim.
