Q: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island (& why)?
A: I would want my sister. She’s seen too many Lost, Survivor, and The Amazing Race episodes for me to not bring her!
Q: Who is your favorite author/what is your favorite book?
A: That’s tough, but I’m going to go with Margaret Atwood. The Handmaid’s Tale is beautifully written.
Q: What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?
A: Arts and Crafts! Why do we get rid of this in elementary school? I’d love to have a class where all I have to do is cut up paper and color in the lines.
Q: What is the #1 most played song or artist on your iPod?
A: Right now, it’s everything by The Belle Brigade. I stumbled upon them on Spotify the other day and now I have them on repeat. But technically, it’s ‘The News’ by Jack Johnson.
Q: What is your goal for the Quad/your section this semester/year?
A: I would really like to incorporate more current events in the Op/Ed section. We college kids need to stay updated on the world and it’s always interesting to get a point of view from a student who is well informed.
