Q: Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island (& why)?
A: I would have to bring Les Stroud (Survivorman) so he could teach me the ropes. I’m sure the conversation wouldn’t be bad, either.
Q: Who is your favorite author/what is your favorite book?
A: My favorite author at the moment is Bret Easton Ellis, and my favorite book by him is “American Psycho.” It’s a really dark and twisted novel, but it’s very thought-provoking at the same time.
Q: What is the one thing that should be taught in school that isn’t already?
A: I think that students should be taught more ‘common sense’ skills that will be useful in everyday life, like how to balance a checkbook, rent an apartment, buy a used car, etc.
Q: What is the #1 most played song or artist on your iPod?
A: Definitely something by Radiohead or The Smiths.
Q: What is your goal for the Quad/your section this semester/year?
A: My main goal for the Quad is to move us to an interactive website in addition to the print paper released every week, so that students can access the Quad on their computers, smartphones and tablets.
